Body Skincare Treatment - Exfoliating Soaps

Soaps and cleanser helps to remove everyday dirt. Regular exfoliating will help to improve the overall appearance of your skin. Exfoliating will help to remove the build of up dead skin that can clog your pores and lead to ingrown hairs. It will also help to relief itchiness, remove flakiness, and help your skin to better absorb moisture.

Exfoliating Soaps & Body Scrubs

Exfoliating soaps is a combination of  cleanser and body scrub. They work well to help and remove flakiness on your skin. You will benefit from exfoliating soap if your skin is oily or prone to ingrown hairs.

Clay Soaps – Clay soap are very beneficial if you have oily skin. While helping to remove impurities it also helps to draw out and absorb oil from your skin.

Oatmeal – Oatmeal soap is a great exfoliant that can absorb oil and help to sooth irritated or sensitive skin.

Almond Meal Soapl – These soaps contains abrasive made from ground almonds. A great exfoliant for oily skin.

Pumice Soap – Pumice soap can be rough on your skin. Only use them on the bottom of your feet.

How Often to Exfoliate Your Body Skin

Exfoliating helps to soften and smooth your skin.  Best of all, it only takes a few minutes to exfoliate your entire body. Try to exfoliate about twice a week but don’t over do it because over exfoliate can dry and irritate your skin.

Exfoliating your body is skin very simple. You can either moisten your sponge, washcloth, or loofahs, then soap it up and work it into a lather or rub an exfoliating soap onto dampen hands and work it into a lather. Starting at the bottom of your feet, in circular motion, gently move upward and stopping at the neck.

Bath Sponge

Because your body skin is hardier and thicker than your facial skin, you can use a more harsh abrasive. You can use Loofahs, dry brushes, bath salts, sea sponges, washcloth, body scrubs, silk mitt, or exfoliating soaps to exfoliate your body skin(from the neck down).

Keep in mind that you can’t sterilize bath sponge. Once you use them, soap residue, dead skin, and bacteria buildup will remain in your sponge. So after each use it’s important to wash and dry your bath sponge well. It will need to be replaced very often (at least once every 2 months).
