Hair Treatment for Healthier Looking Hair

When you go to the supermarket and look at the hair care product section, like most of us, you will be overwhelmed by the number of hair care products that are available. With so many hair care products, how do you know which one to use?

First, to take the best care of your hair, you need to know what hair type you have. Once you know your hair type, you can narrow down the category of hair care product that you need.

Hair Type & Hair Treatment Remedy

Dry Hair Care & Treatment: Dry hair is caused by either genetics or other factor such as too much sun exposure, using harsh shampoo, chemical treatment, and excessive heat styling (straightening, perms, aggressive hair styling products, hair coloring, and blow-drying)

Dry hair is difficult to control especially after shampoooing. It looks dull, break of very easily, and have ends that are dry and split. If you have dry hair, consider using a moisturizing shampoo and hair conditioner along with a deep conditioning treatment once a month. Cut back on the use of blow-dryer and simplify your hair style so you don't use too much hair styling products.

Normal Hair: Normal Hair is the most ideal hair. It is shinny but not greasy, well balanced and does not dry out. Normal hair is also soft, strong, full of body, and easy to manage. To maintain this ideal hair condition, gentle proper care is essential. If your hair fall into this category, continue to do what your'e doing to have this ideal hair type.

Oily Hair Care: Oily hair can be recognize easily. After shampooing, it looks good for a day or two but then quickly becomes lifeless. Oily hair look greasy, clumps together at the root, and gets dirty quickly (oily hair attract more dirt).

Oliy hair are cause by many factors such as genetics, vitamin deficiency, sweat, poor diet, or over stimulaton of oil the glands due to stress. If you have oily hair, consider shampoo often with a gentle hair shampoo that are label frequent or everyday use to help control excess oil.

Oily Scalp and Dry Hair: If you have hair that's greasy at the root but are dry, dull, stiff, break easily, and split at the ends, you probably are over processing your hair. Shampoo every second day with a shampoo for normal hair. Concentrate more on the scalp when you wash your hair and use a moisturizing conditioner from midstrand down to the end. Simplify your hair style and consider a deep conditioning treatment once a month.
